The McCain campaign's sequestering of Sarah Palin from the media again today has raised further questions about the VP nominee's policy chops. She has yet to hold a press conference and refuses questions after her appearances.
But there is, on the other hand, this press release from Aaron Tippin: "On the heels of introducing his new single 'Drill Here Drill Now,' platinum-selling country music recording artist Aaron Tippin performed at the McCain/Palin Rally held this past weekend at Market Square at Sumter Landing in The Villages, Lady Lake, FL.
"In her first visit to Florida, Republican Vice Presidential Candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin led the Rally, where Tippin performed a five-song set before a crowd of nearly 60,000 -- one of the largest campaign rallies in this GOP enclave's history.
"His show featured 'Drill Here Drill Now'... The song received an overwhelming and enthusiastic response, drawing the attention of passionate and excitable audiences with Governor Palin leading the charge."
And so there you have it, grumpy-butts: Sarah Palin led the charge in cheering for Tippin's passionately articulated statement of domestic energy policy. That's statesmanship! Enjoy.
