Jesus Wept

If there's anything that says "I'm a good Christian soldier" more than long-distance Jew-bashing, it's sneaking into public bathrooms and taking pictures of people while they are doing their business. According to his latest message to Memphis ministers, the publicly anti-Semitic minister, Reverend George Brooks of Murfreesboro, threatens to hound his archenemy Steve Cohen by having him photographed in compromising situations.

Here's an excerpt from Brooks' note, which includes an artist's conception of what the congressman might look like on the potty: "Rev. George Brooks' watchdog group, with cameras at the ready, are being assigned to focus on Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen's every move for the next two years. Including any possible 'foot-patting' in the capitol restroom. Cohen is for legalizing marijuana as well as gay marriage too, no doubt."

Brooks' note also chastises Memphis clergy for letting an "ANTI-JESUS" Jew beat the "Christian, Willie Herenton," and promises to run against Cohen in 2012. Looks like Prince Mongo may have just gotten himself some serious competition.

Neverending Elvis

Yes, there's been a lot of Elvis stuff in Fly on the Wall recently. But this is the King's special week, after all, and this news was too good not to mention: Star City resident Elvis D. Presley has filed papers to run for governor of Arkansas. Mr. Presley, an Elvis impersonator, says he wants to supply the people with a "newer chain of state government." A solid-gold chain, maybe? With a TCB pendant, perhaps? We're betting this news gets the Arkansas media all shook up.
