Fashion Police

According to police reports, Sophia Jackson was arrested for disorderly conduct after throwing candy wrappers on the ground near the corner of Fourth and Vance and directing profane language at the police officer who asked her to stop. Jackson's unique two-tone hairdo was not charged separately, although it was clearly disturbing the peace.

The Sitch

The Smoking Gun reports that Jersey Shore's Mike Sorrentino — also known as "The Situation" — wanted to start his own clothing line, but the reality star best known for his amazing abs and his love for pairing suit vests with T-shirts has been unable to trademark his nickname, because it's already in use by Julio Aref, a Memphis clothing dealer. Sorrentino, who has partnered with clothing retailer Dilligaf (Do I look like I give a f***) to create a clothing line that embodies "let's not take things so seriously mentally," may be forced to do something crazy like use his actual name.

Exit The King

Jerry "The King" Lawler is shutting down his latest Saturday morning TV wrestling promotion after only a three-month run. "What we found out was that it's very expensive to produce a local wrestling show these days," Lawler said during his last broadcast. Unsurprisingly, Lawler, who recently extracted himself from a deal to create a Memphis wrestling-themed deli in downtown Memphis, said he wouldn't rule out the possibility of restarting the promotion.

the Bottom line

A headline at myeyewitnessnews.com reads, "Man Shot in Buttocks at Club Envy in Memphis." No, the man's name wasn't Forrest Gump. And no, there is no reason to be envious.
