According to Fox 13 News, Memphis jelly maker Dianne Hicks was hanging out in the kitchen, whipping up a batch of the sweet stuff, and missing her deceased mama when she received a sign from beyond the grave. As the ingredients came to a boil on the stove, Dianne was amazed to see that the image of a dove had formed in the saucepan. Better still: Fox 13 "Good Morning Memphis" host Greg Coy showed a blurry photograph of the delicious miracle, announced "I see a dove," and asked, "Folks at home, what do you see? Do you see a dove?" while the news crawl below announced the arrival of "pothead ring pops," lollipops shaped like pot leaves with the word "legalize" on the wrapper.
