Memphis Grizzlies' Day of Reckoning

NBA Draft Day is finally here. We’re now only hours away from the draft lottery, which will be broadcast on ESPN at 7:30 tonight and which, with college phenoms Greg Oden and Kevin Durant available, could constitute the most important moment in Memphis Grizzlies franchise history.

The Grizzlies are holding lottery "watch parties," starting at 6 p.m., at four locations around town: Flying Saucer downtown; Flying Saucer Cordova; Fox and Hound at Sanderlin & Poplar; Fox and Hound Southaven.

The big one is at the downtown Flying Saucer, where ESPN Radio's Chris Vernon Show will broadcast from 3 to 6 and Grizzlies radio play-by-play man Eric Hasseltine will be hosting the party. ESPN will be there filming to provide live look-ins during the network's NBA Shootaround show from 6:30 to 7:30 and then during the lottery itself.

Keep your fingers crossed (or head down to Schwab's for some appropriate voodoo paraphernalia) and check the Flyer’s Grizzlies blog, Beyond the Arc, for more Grizzlies news and analysis.
