A red-carpet premiere of the documentary Duty of the Hour, which chronicles the history of race in America and the advocacy role of Benjamin L. Hooks. The film, made through the University of Memphis’ Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change, includes archival footage and interviews with Hooks, Jimmy Carter, the Rev. Samuel Kyles, Maxine Smith, and others.
