About "Billy Lee Riley, R.I.P.," by Chris Davis:

"Mister Billy Lee Riley was there when things happened in Memphis. He was not only a witness but also a great original and, with his band onstage, he could drive anybody 'Red Hot.' In the studio, they were able to back any rockabilly cat coming in Memphis without a band. The Sun sound and legacy owe much to Billy Lee Riley. He will be not only remembered like a great rock-and-roller but also like an exceptional human. May he rest in peace down by the riverside."

About "Fly on the Wall" and Chris Davis' comments about gay marriage:

"I don't know about you, but whenever I think about gay marriage, I like to honk my horn. Some days I honk it five, six times. There just aren't enough hours in the day to effectively oppose gay marriage in this manner, especially when we have so many other things to oppose, like the Gay Environmental Movement and the Gay Socialized Medicine." — jeff

About "The Rant," by Tim Sampson, who barely mentioned Sarah Palin:

"Interestingly, many liberals hate Sarah Palin and not necessarily due to her lack of political knowledge. Liberals as a whole tend to hate the God of Christianity and she is a Christian." — CHG

Comment of the Week:

About "Willie Herenton Says Goodbye — Really," by Jackson Baker:

"Our Dubya-Dubya was as bad as Dubya. Thank God we are rid of both of them." — rantboy
