I stopped by Mr. Lincoln's Costume Shoppe today to check out the food costumes.
There are plenty.
You can be an M&M, for example, in any number of colors.
Perhaps the "Big Mac" is more your style. Lincoln employee Madison is holding it for me. Madison is also holding a severed head.
Among the produce: banana, carrot, and peas.
While not food, per se, there's also Mr. Potato Head.
Other food-related costumes on Mr. Lincoln's inventory sheet: Burker King, "Beer Man" (not sure what that one is), Hot Dog, Cookie Monster, Lobster, Soda Jerk, and Pumpkin.
If you do end up going as a hamburger or a hot dog, I really must insist that you be eating a hamburger or a hot dog, so that you will be a cannibal too.
Mr. Lincoln's is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through October 31st and 1-6 p.m. November 1st. Rentals run on average between $25 and $55.
