One of the things (among many) that struck Pam and me about Page One was that the archival footage of the NYT newsroom was more or less the same as the contemporary footage of the NYT newsroom. Make of that what you will.
And speaking of the same, Pam zoned in on Amerigo's arugula salad with flamed grilled apples ($8). This had long been a favorite of hers and now it's a favorite of mine.
The salad has a nice balance of peppery and smoky from its two main ingredients, which are punctuated with just the right amount of roasted walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese and Gorgonzola vinaigrette.
We also enjoyed the Bruschetta Amerigo ($9), which included delicious roasted grape tomatoes.
Another dish we tried was the wild mushroom ravioli ($13).
This is cheese-filled ravioli topped with mushrooms, pan-seared vegetables, and spinach and served in an herb broth, which is just light enough for these waning days of summer.
