I have travel anxiety. A simple weekend trip to Atlanta to visit family will have me fretting over the correct number of socks and underwear (as if they don't sell socks and underwear in Atlanta). At the airport, I check to see if I have my ID, I check to see if I have my ID, I check to see if I have my ID.

A little bit of this mania extends to whenever I go out to Collierville. I must try somewhere new (at least to me) to eat. I plan. I ask around.

On my last Collierville trek a few days ago, I chose BooYa's.

BooYa's is a medium-sized sports bar/restaurant in a strip mall on Poplar. Its specialties are burritos and burgers.

I went for the burrito. Options include Chipotle shrimp and surf & turf; you choose the add-ins.

I got the small veggie ($6.95). This one included just about everything — black beans, rice, guacamole, vegetables, etc. The result was a nice fat burrito that could be divided for two meals. It comes with a side of tortilla chips.

It was good, and I think burritos, in general, are a safe bet for a tasty and filling lunch. My coworker was saying that he thinks burritos are overrated and that it's time for tacos to take the spotlight. He was just being contrary, but I'm okay with tacos too. And, yep, BooYa's offers tacos in a number of varieties. They also have quesadillas, nachos, and salads.

So, for my next trip to Collierville, you tell me: where should I go?

BooYa's, 954 W. Poplar in Collierville 854-9466
