I picked up dinner from the new Cooper-Young Mulan last night. I believe it was my first time to try Mulan and my first time in that building.
Mulan has an extensive menu of Chinese dishes as well as a selection of sushi rolls. Now with the to-go menu in hand — they also deliver within 5 miles, minimum $20 order — there are a whole lot of things I want to try. Home-style tofu? Just try to stop me ...
I ordered the tofu with mixed vegetables ($8.95, pictured above). This was perfect — brown sauce, broccoli, mushroom, zucchini, baby corn, tofu.
I also tried the green onion pancake ($1.95), a satisfying appetizer that is not much more than flour, water, and green onions that is zipped up with dipping sauce or soy sauce.
FYI, for those fans of Mulan's bubble tea drinks ... be patient. The Midtown location is not serving them yet, but I was assured they are coming.
