Stickem Food Truck

Those good things you heard about kabob-centric Stickem food truck? All true.

I finally got to try them during Wednesday's food truck rodeo in Court Square held for the benefit of Southern Living and its Tastiest Town contest.*

I ordered the tofu plate ($8). Stickem was down to its last skewer, so they threw in some extra veggies and threw in a discount.

Hannah got the shrimp and steak plate ($10).

The food is cooked on a hibachi and is lightly seasoned. Simple, very good flavors.

The tofu was so good, in fact, that I was hesitant to share. (And next time, maybe I won't.)

*Speaking of Southern Living and its Tastiest Town contest, today, Thursday, February 28th, is the last day to vote for Memphis. Vote here.

Boscos Squared is hosting a Get Out the Vote Party tonight from 5-7 p.m.

As for yesterday's event at Court Square ... yes, it was cold and drizzly. But, given all those Tweets I've gotten every day to vote, I was surprised at the small turnout.
