Only 19 New Virus Cases Recorded on Low Testing Day

Shelby County’s positive rate for COVID-19 fell sharply from Sunday to Monday to 2.8 percent.

The Shelby County Health Department reported 674 tests were given Sunday. Of those, 19 were positive. The total number of COVID-19 cases here stands at 5,927. The department also reported two deaths Sunday. The death toll is now 127 in Shelby County.
