Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi — Forbes magazine's second most powerful woman in the world — is in the United States this month to sign $15 billion worth of U.S. goods and services. After spending about $4 billion in L.A. and buying telecommunication equipment, software, and automobiles, respectively, from Motorola, Microsoft, and General Motors, Wu is expected in Memphis to sign contracts for U.S. cotton, soy, and poultry.

Someone better alert Joe Brown.
