The painting commemorates Elvis purchase of the home a half a century ago and the landmarks 25 years of being open to the public.
The event kicks off Friday evening at 6:30 with an informal welcome reception at Gracelands Ticket Pavilion, and continues on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum at Graceland, where the painting will be shown and Kinkade will speak about how the King inspired him
VIP guests can mingle with Priscilla Presley, Kinkade, and other collectors and fans. On Saturday night at 7 p.m., beverages and hors doeuvres will be served at the Gibson Guitar Center downtown, and guests can bid on a limited edition replica of "Graceland, 50th Anniversary."
