Adventures in Hollyhood follows Three 6 Mafia from Memphis to Los Angeles, as the rap group tries to capitalize on their 2006 Oscar for "It's Hard Out Here on a Pimp."

The show is heavy on comedy as Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul and Juicy J — along with their entourage Computer, Project Pat, and Big Treice — play Dirty South fish out of water. Among their Hollyhood adventures is pitching a Memphis gangsta movie to the maker of Die Hard and writing a song for the soundtrack of Jackass 2.
