Billy Gibson in Blues Revue Magazine

comment
We don’t typically associate the lonesome wail of harmonica with Beale Street. But that’s where Mississippi bluesman Billy Gibson honed his skill on the harp, playing as a regular for six years at Rum Boogie Cafe. Now he talks about the music world and his band inside the pages of Blues Revue magazine. Nominated as “Best New Artist” at the 2006 Blues Music awards, Gibson shares what he learned at the “university of blues.”

The issue also has a story about Black Snake Moan.
