Brushmark Restaurant at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art welcomes a new chef to oversee daily lunch operations, as well as the museums special events. Chef Wally Joe creator of Wally Joes Restaurant in Memphis and KCs in Cleveland, Mississippi will continue his involvement with these eateries while he and his chef de cuisine, Andre Adams, shake things up at Brooks Museum.
Says Brooks spokesperson Diane Jalfon: I am confident that with Wallys incredible culinary skills, we will be able to take the art of food to an entirely new level.
Though his involvement starts immediately, Wally Joes official culinary debut at the Brooks will take place Saturday, November 18th, at the annual Moss Society Dinner. Joes cuisine fuses Asian specialties with hints of the American South. Go to the Brooks Website for more info.
