Kid's Stuff

For kids, there are few things more fun than a visit to the Children's Museum of Memphis. They can experience the thrill of being a pilot, a TV reporter, or a firefighter while honing their skills as burgeoning young capitalists. But nothing is more wonderful than the museum mural that pays tribute to Memphis' musical legacy. The first image that caught the Fly's eye was of a giant Jerry Lee Lewis hanging around outside the museum. Looking for his next wife, maybe?

Also of note is this portrait of former President George W. Bush standing in the middle of the road singing all his big hits.

And lastly, there's the father of the blues himself, W.C. Handy, doing his best Jeff Buckley impersonation.
