Last week, Fly on the Wall reported that Memphis' favorite alien, Robert "Prince Mongo" Hodges, was currently wintering in sunny Florida, where he has been upsetting the neighbors by painting witches on his walls, building mountains of sand, and hanging women's underwear in the yard.
Mongo's story has since appeared all around the world, including on the Dutch news site Foknieuws.com, which published an article titled "Alien' hangt tuin vol damesslipjes" which translates "Alien garden hangs full of panties."
When translated literally into English, the article reads, "The inhabitants of Volusia County, in the American state Florida, are [meeting] a new inhabitant more than drunk. The oddity has filled its garden with sand hills and vervolgens all lingerie in the garden hung. The best man claims moreover of another planet be to come and already 333 years old." The article is illustrated with this image that would probably look right at home in the back window of Mongo's spaceship.
Mongo has since spoken to Florida media, telling station WFTV that "everyone wants to go to my planet. They're sick of what's going on on Earth. The Earth is going to be destroyed." When asked why he was hanging women's underpants in his yard, Mongo said his neighbors had "kind of started a war."
Parts is Parts
A headline from the PETA website says "Naked Woman Makes Point That Humans and Animals Have the Same Parts." The vegan woman who protested at the corner of Union and Beale painted her body to look like a butcher's chart but only stripped down to her panties, keeping any evidence of a tail hidden from view.
