One more play opening tonight: It s Collected Stories by Donald Margulies, and it s about a writing teacher and her students. And there are several art events. It s the last Friday of the month, which means the South Main Trolley Art Tour, with free trolley rides, champagne, and a tour of the historic district s many galleries and shops. And there are opening receptions at: Gallery 203 at the U of M for Not Far From the Tree, by Tommy Foster; D Edge Art & Unique Treasures for new works by George Hunt and Debra Edge Taylor; Java Cabana for Playful Heuristic Sketches, by Melanie Pyron; and at the U of M s Art Museum for Everything Can Be Different, works by 13 international artists. And at Newby s tonight, Yamagata is the featured band at The Shawn Kelly Memorial, in memory of one of Memphis finest musicians.
