As long as threats to national security remain at code yellow or below, the federal government will allow airports to reopen parking lots that have been closed since September 11th due to concerns about car bombs. The screening of travelers will also be relaxed with security only checking travelers at random gates. Robert Johnson, Transportation Security Administration spokesman, has been quoted as saying, "We're trying to avoid screening Grandma two or three times as she makes her way home for the holidays." Because "screening Grandma" is, well, you know -- digusting.
