King Khan Correction

In this week's print edition of the Flyer, we reported that King Khan & the Shrines would be playing the Hi-Tone Cafe Wednesday, November 19th. Khan, a Montreal-bred, Berlin-based, Goner Records-connected rocker will be at the Hi-Tone Cafe, but not with his 12-piece psychedelic/soul band the Shrines. Instead, he'll be joined by frequent collaborator Mark "BBQ Show" Sultan for a skuzzier, leaner brand of garage-rock. King Khan & BBQ Show will play the Hi-Tone Wednesday, November 19th, with openers Hollow Stars and Tyler Keith & the Apostles. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 the day of the show. You can sample the sounds of King Khan & BBQ Show here.
