Memphis in the Movies

comment
Memphis will return to the silver screen again soon, this time in The Rabbit Factory. The film will be set in Memphis (no word yet on filming locations) and is based on the last novel released by Oxford-born author Larry Brown (Joe, Father and Son), who died in 2004. According to Empire Magazine, the film will be helmed by Vondie Curtis-Hall, who directed Glitter (not so good) and Waist Deep (to be released in Memphis this weekend). He also had a bit part in the Memphis film Mystery Train, so maybe he knows the terrain well. Read all about it here.
