MJCC International Jewish Film Festival

The four-day film festival kicks off with the Lorraine Levy-directed French drama The Other Son, a switched at birth story about a teenager named Joseph living in Tel Aviv who is preparing for mandatory military service in the Israeli army. A pre-service blood test reveals that Joseph isn’t who he thinks he is. Other films include the Swedish WWII-era drama Simon and the Oaks, and the comedy Hava Nagila (The Movie). The festival closes with a concert by contemporary a cappella group The Maccabeats.
