Local firefighters battle a huge blaze at a South Memphis warehouse packed with bales of cotton. Luckily, like the downtown fires in October, no one is injured despite the tremendous size of the fire. Keep this up, though, and our luck is bound to run out someday.
Collierville police arrest two men, who were apparently living out of their car, for driving around that town and shooting out the windows of more than 30 vehicles with a BB gun. We're happy they weren't using a "real" gun, but it was still a dangerous (and costly) crime. After all, as we learned from the movie A Christmas Story, you can "shoot your eye out" with those things.
