We Can't Make This Stuff Up

Oh Canada, what will you think of next? Seems that Okanagan Life publisher Paul Byrne loves Memphis. A lot. So much so, in fact, that he's written a musical about the city's magazine. "INK! The Musical" hits the boards April 14 to 23 at Performance Works on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia. The play revolves around the publisher of Memphis magazine, "Milt," and the magazine's alcoholic editor "Connie." Guess art does imitate life, after all. What's next? "EXTRA! EXTRA! The Commercial Appeal Story," broken down into nine, shorter one-acts featuring actors from your neighborhood, of course. Read all about it here.
