Speaking of gardens, don't miss the opening show in the annual "Live at the Garden" concert series at the Memphis Botanic Garden. Jewel will play the first show in a full season of hit makers of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The show begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, but gates open at 7 p.m.

Volunteers must reserve a place, though, so call 731-512-1369 right away. Work begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.
