White Stripes Tickets on Sale Today

comment
The last time rock duo the White Stripes played Memphis was September 10th, 2001, when they played to an overflow crowd at South Main bar Ernestine & Hazel’s — that’s right, Ernestine & Hazel’s. In the interim, frontman Jack White has spent time in Memphis studios doing mixing work on albums from Loretta Lynn (which he produced) and his side-project band the Raconteurs. On Tuesday, July 31st, the Stripes finally make their live return to the Memphis area with a show at the Snowden Grove Amphitheater in Southaven, Mississippi. Tickets for the concert went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster
